Volunteers are needed in the food pantry/warehouse to sort food items and stock shelves. Some volunteers may be asked to assist our clients assemble their food boxes. Available schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. and occasional Fridays and weekends. Special projects arranged with our Volunteer Coordinator.
Tasks include, but are not limited to emptying trash, sweeping, dry and wet mopping floors, wiping pantry shelves and maintaining the break room and clean room. Stock and Sort: Tasks include, but
are not limited to sorting items in the food warehouse, restocking locations, preparation for projects/group volunteers.

Description
Iron County Care and Share is a local, private non-profit dedicated to providing compassionate assistance and resources to individuals and families in need, offering them opportunities to increase their stability and self-sufficiency.
Our target populations are homeless men, women and children; residents of Iron county; and the chronically homeless in Beaver, Washington, Garfield, and Kane counties. This population includes the elderly, minorities, the disabled, veterans, developmentally disabled, physically and mentally ill, those with dual diagnoses, and homeless people living in places unfit for human habitation. Iron County Care and Share provides a pathway to stability for individuals in crisis who have few affordable and supportive options available.
