Job Summary
The Situation Room Experience intern at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum will help proctor high school groups of 20 - 40 students during a live simulation.
Responsibilities and Duties
The intern will brief students about the logistics and operations of the simulation and help de-brief on the metrics collected during the game.The intern will be responsible for helping to set up and take down the equipment and materials for each simulation and will assist with administrative duties surrounding the group visits.
Qualifications and Skills
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
The intern should be available from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. up to three days per week beginning in January at the start of the spring semester. We are looking for a graduate intern who is available for more than one semester in the following academic fields: education, history, political science, public administration, business and other applicable fields related to museum education and history.
Intern must be enrolled in graduate school at least half-time as defined by academic regulations and able to receive school credit for the internship and submit to a background check.

Description
As a Presidential library administered by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), the Reagan Library, under the authority of the Presidential Records Act, is the repository of presidential records for President Reagan’s administration. Our holdings include over 60 million pages of documents, over 1.6 million photographs, a half million feet of motion picture film and tens of thousands of audio and video tapes. Additionally, the Library houses personal papers collections including documents from Ronald Reagan’s eight years as governor of California.
