We are seeking for native Spanish speaking volunteers to teach Language Arts in Spanish for our GED preparation program at Centro Hispano Marista. The main focus is to teach the students how to wirite an essay and improve their reading comprehension skills.

You do not need to be an educator to teach at the Centro. Our teachers are all wonderful volunteers that come from very different backgrounds. What they all have in common is a heart for teaching and a desire to help the less fortunate improve their future through education.

Books, syllabus and training are provided. Classes are every Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, at Marist School in Atlanta, Ga. Classes start on Tuesday, February 5th, 2019 for the Spring semester and run through May 14th. There is no class on Tuesday, March 5th due to Spring Break. There will be a new teacher training workshop end of January (date to be confirmed)

The mission of Centro Hispano Marista is to prepare our students to complete the GED program and obtain their diploma.

We would love to have you join our team and together make a difference!
