We are looking to create a volunteer core to help us promote and support The Apprentice of Peace Youth Organization and our fully integrated lifestyle movement, also to be a part of our volunteer efforts with other partners. Our organization engages youth and young adults in the L.A.W.S. of life, which stands for leadership, arts, wellness, and skilled trades. We have a 16 week program designed to develop life skills while reducing mental health stigma.
Our big initiative for 2019 is to work with 25+ schools and sites. Here are some ways you can help as a Guardian of Peace:

Mission Statement
Our mission is to engage youth and young adults in the L.A.W.S. of Life which we define as leadership, arts, wellness, and skilled trades.
Description
The Apprentice of Peace Youth Organization (AOPYO) started with our flagship program Tai Chi for Peace, and incorporates our three founding principles; The Realization, the Committed Effort & Accepting Principles of Change. Our mission is to engage youth and young adults in the L.A.W.S. of Life, which we define as leadership, arts, wellness, and skilled trades. We will show students how to realize their best effort for themselves, their community and the world through this philosophy of peace. We work with youth in school and out of school site. In 2018 we were selected as one 6 organizations to use our program as an innovation around reducing mental health stigma. Through this we accelerator program we developed a 16 week program designed to reduce mental health stigma and increase life skills.
