ORGANIZATION: Asian Counseling and Referral Service

Human Resources Intern

­ Gain invaluable experience in the Development Field while helping fund programs that bring hope, opportunity and voice to thousands across our region

Number of Positions: 1

Position Hours: Monday - Friday 9 - 5 P.M. (Flexibility within these hours)
Term: Six to 12 months with individual interning 10-15 hours per week

Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication, comfort with Microsoft office suite (word, excel) and databases. Muse be comfortable on the telephone. Understanding of cultural competency, anti-racism and familiar with the work of ACRS and community.

Minimum Age Requirement: 18
Duration Requirement: 6-12 months

This position will provide direct support to the Development department at ACRS and play a critical role in assisting with grant applications, donor relations and solicitation, agency communications, event coordination and data management. Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization offering a broad array of human services and behavioral health programs to Asian Pacific Americans in King County. ACRS is the largest multiservice organization serving all the different Asian Pacific American communities - immigrants, refugees and American born - in the Pacific Northwest.
