Are you looking for volunteer experience with medically-complex children?
New Alternatives for Children (NAC) is a highly regarded child welfare agency serving children who are medically complex and/or have developmental disabilities and their families.

Recreation Activity Support Volunteers can organize activities, including interactive games and art projects, for children waiting for their medical or mental health appointments at NAC’s state-of-the-art Comprehensive Health Center. The children’s ages range from four to 17 and the children have various levels of functioning. Volunteers can make spending time in the waiting area fun!
Prior experience working with children preferred. Ideally the volunteer can commit to two hours per week: Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday at either 4:30-6:30pm or 5-7pm.
