We need groups to commit to one meal per month in our Women's Recovery Center kitchen. Groups will choose a favorite menu, purchase the ingredients, assign responsibilities, and implement the plan to serve approximately 75 women and children. If your group can't fund the meal, you can work with our Kitchen Manager to prepare whatever is on the menu for that day. Group size is limited to 6 persons because the kitchen is small. Description
Gospel Rescue Mission operates a homeless shelter for men and a shelter for women and women with children. In addition to providing emergency needs to the homeless population, both shelters operate long term residential recovery and education programs. These programs include: drug and alcohol recovery and relapse prevention; academic education; computer literacy; counseling; job readiness; and life skills training. We also provide food boxes, clothing,and household items to needy Tucson residents.
