This is a unique opportunity: we don't need your elbow grease, we need your expertise!
We have lots of groups (everyone from corporate partners and the Girl Scouts) and individuals eager to come out and get their hands dirty in the neighborhood, but we need someone to lead them.
Our one full-time employee is busy in the summer with a full calendar of cultural programming. Your role will be organizing volunteers once a month to pick up trash, weed traffic islands, and generally tidy up Brighton. We need someone to choose the event day & time, notify volunteers, and gather tools and supplies from storage.
Areas of focus are the traffic islands and streets in the Brighton Main Streets District, Washington Street from Oak Square to St. Elizabeth's Medical Center.
