We are delighted in your interest to be A SUPER-STAR-HERO-VOLUNTEER helping assemble 1,000 HOLIDAY DINNER BASKETS for FAMILIES in-need in Los Angeles County.
NEW SCHEDULE FOR
MAIN EVENT Saturday, Dec. 23rd, 7am to 7pm.
Assemble & Distribute (at the church) 1,000 Holiday Dinner Food Baskets, TOYS, Clothing, Assist with Raffle for Computer tablets and Bicycles.

Sunday, Dec. 24th, 3pm to 5pm ONLY.
Help hand out a FEW Dinner baskets & Gifts.

SUPER STAR GIVERS WE NEED YOU! Please help us with an online donation providing 1,000 NEEDY FAMILY DINNER BASKETS, NEW TOYS, COMPUTER TABLETS, YOUTH BICYCLES AND WINTER CLOTHING FOR DISADVANTAGED FAMILIES THIS HOLIDAY.
Cash Donations accepted on site or through our website using PayPal.

SUPER-STAR-HERO VOLUNTEERS Needed for Assembly of 1,000 Ready-to-Cook HOLIDAY Dinner Baskets for Needy Families: MAIN EVENT Saturday, Dec. 23rd, 7am to 7pm, we will be assembling & distributing at the church food baskets, with handout of baskets starts at 1pm to 5pm.., You will be part of teams handing out these Holiday Dinner baskets to families (who have pre-registered or are in attendance), Handing out Clothing, Jackets, Blankets, Hygiene kits, toys & gifts to our disadvantaged families. Also to help organize the event & assist with the raffle of computer tablets and bicycles. . We usually have hot dogs & chips available as well.

SUNDAY Dec. 24th, 3pm to 5pm ONLY,at the Center of Hope: Hand out a FEW food baskets & gifts.Only need 5-6 volunteers for Sunday afternoon.

This event will take place at the Center of Hope, (on church property). Volunteer parking in the church lot, Street parking and additional parking at the corner of Fair Oaks Ave at N. Orange Grove Blvd (Starbucks).

No registration is required, choose your available time and we will see you at the event. Event Location: Center of Hope, 55 E. Villa St. @ N. Raymond Ave., Pasadena, CA 91103. (we are using the Holy Assembly church building, with plenty of free parking in lot off N. Raymond Ave., street parking available.

SATURDAY FIRST SHIFT of 7am to 11am

SATURDAY SECOND SHIFT of 11am to 4pm

SATURDAY THIRD SHIFT of 3pm to 7pm

SUNDAY of 3pm to 5pm ONLY

Arrive the time of your preferred shift,. You may also volunteer for the entire day, or a few hours in-between, whatever fits your schedule!

Activity is open to all able Adults, Groups, Families and Youth with parental permission and/or supervision. There is no age restriction, however very young children who would be unable to participate, consider your safety and of those in your care. Wear comfortable clothes & shoes, bring your own bottled water or soft drink.

Food donations for Dinner Baskets can be brought to Holy Assembly Church, every Tuesday & Thursday ONLY, 12noon to 2pm. Also Saturday, Dec.23rd, 7am to 7pm.*

Food Donation suggestions that you can bring with you to this event, helping feed families & children. BRING: CANNED, BOXED, PACKAGED & NON-PERISHABLES including: Frozen TURKEYS, HAMS, canned meats, packaged butter, stuffing, sweet potatoes, vegetables, green beans, corn, gravy, Instant mashed potatoes, baking potatoes, fresh onions, fresh squash, gravy mixes, soups, Durkee onions, cranberry sauce, Can fruit & pie fillings, miniature marshmallows, mincemeat, pecans, walnuts, raisins, pumpkin, pickles, relishes, salad dressings, caramels, apples and packaged juices. FOOD SUPPLIES CAN BE BROUGHT WITH YOU TO OUR EVENT*

FEED LA COUNTY, a certified 501(c)3 nonprofit humanitarian charity, founded in 2002 by Pastor James Jacobs, a Vietnam Veteran, provides and distributes food & hot meals by partnering with more than 98 local organizations, helps Veterans with PTSD, locate housing, job placement, education, working computers, hygiene supplies and referrals for mental health and drug treatment services. Recognized by The City of Pasadena, The Pasadena Star News, Pasadena Weekly and featured in the Beverly Press.
