Give Me Shelter Project is a foster based, non-profit animal rescue/adoption organization, working mostly with cats.
We are seeking a self-motivated individual who can contact community businesses for donations to be used in our quarterly raffles. Donations procured will be in the form of gift certificates, gift cards and/or merchandise. Some items will need to be arranged as gift baskets, etc.
Our quarterly raffles are extremely important to continue our much-needed wrok!
You must be creative and organized with the ability to keep track of donors, donations, thank you cards, etc. You will be required to pick up donations from various donors.
A brief training will be in Flushing after which you will be able to work out of your own home.
Can you commit to at least a year? We need your help!

* promoting trap-neuter-return (TNR)
* support for and collaboration with individuals and other animal welfare organizations
* education of the public on the importance of sterilization, basic animal care, humane treatment of animals and the value of animals as an integral part of our society
