During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Our volunteers are trained, and continually educated on the hospice philosophy. With this opportunity, we hope to gain volunteers who are willing to:
-travel to patients' homes
-trim/cut/comb/curl patients' hair or beard
-give manicures/foot massages for patients
*No cutting of nails is permitted*
Often times Hospice can be a discouraging word, but at Encompass Hospice we are about the Quality of Life for our patients. We have several patients who are alert, and willing to accept this kind of help. However, they may be unable to leave the house to get a hair cut.
We encourage you to get with us for more details about this opportunity!

A Better Way to Care
Our compassionate end-of-life care is provided in the patient’s home, whether that is a home address, nursing home, assisted living community, independent living community or other location. It focuses on the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of both the individual patient and our patients’ loved ones: caregivers, spouses, children, extended family and friends.
We'll work with your schedule.
