This is a wonderful opportunity for someone needing hours with little time to spare! We are looking for someone to help us with translating with our Spanish speaking community! This could be with nurses, aides, marketers, or office staff. This is primarily by phone using a conference call feature. We strive to bring our patients and their families the absolute BEST volunteers, but we NEED help finding more!

Description

Enhabit is looking for volunteers to provide support to patients and their families during their final months and weeks of life. Volunteers provide non-medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given the flexibility to make your own schedule and only participate in activities that you are comfortable with.

A few ways you can help as a hospice volunteer is by running errands for patients and families, playing games or reading with patients, bring your (eligible) pet to provide comfort to the patient and families, or even creating a photo album or memoir for the patient's family.
