Catholic Charities welcomes volunteers to fill a variety of ongoing roles from pro bono professionals (doctors, dentists, lawyers, counselors, financial coaches) to Boomers wishing to share their skills and expertise. Volunteer roles range from mentoring a person returning from incarceration to conducting a short-term special project (for example, conducting a SWOT analysis) to helping out around the office.

Volunteers for ongoing roles must complete a simple application, attend a refreshingly engaging orientation, and undergo (usually very quick) background screening because they will interact with vulnerable people in our care and/or be exposed to their confidential information or Catholic Charities proprietary information. In some instances, the program manager will interview prospective volunteers to ensure a good fit.
