After dinner - 8PM - 10:30PM - we need six (6) volunteers. Duties include: Help sell various raffle tickets. Help close out silent auction and raffles. And help distributing prizes.

The dress code is business casual or nicer. All volunteers must be at least 21 years old.

Volunteers are welcome to stay for dinner and dancing at a reduced rate of $35 to cover our costs. Dinner includes: Caesar salad, Farfalle w/Alfredo, Prime Rib of Beef, Chicken Rosemary Veloute, Roasted Salmon, Sautéed Green Beans w/Tomato, Roasted Garlic Parmesan Mashed potatoes and assorted desserts. The food will be served family style. There will be a cash bar. Soda is complimentary.

If you are willing to work both shifts, we will pay for your dinner.

Any help you can offer would be most appreciated.

Each year the Woodfield Area Children’s Organization (WACO) takes nearly 600 underprivileged preschoolers Christmas shopping for themselves and their families. All proceeds from the Founders Dinner will go to help fund this program.

The Woodfield Area Children’s Organization is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Since 1979 WACO has been dedicated to creating positive childhood memories, providing basic needs, along with educational support for children living at or below poverty level in Chicago's northwest and western suburbs. A full 97 cents of every dollar we raise goes to help the kids. Please visit our website waco4kids.org.
