Are you a parent or caregiver of a child with mental illness? Are you willing to share your story to help educate and support others in the same situation? If so we need you! NAMI Basics is a FREE educational program for caregivers of children with mental illness. The course begins Jan 12 from 10am-12:30pm and runs for 6 weeks. We need people willing to share their struggles, stories, and experience to those who are dealing with this today. If you are interested in this opportunity please email us!

To offer mutual support and empowerment to persons and their families affected by serious mental illness through education, advocacy, and emotional support.
National Alliance on Mental Illness is America's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and familes affected by mental illness such as major depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and borderline personality disorder.
Founded in 1979, NAMI has become the nation's voice on mental illness, a national organization including NAMI organizations in every state and in over 1200 local communities across the country who join together to meet the NAMI mission.
NAMI provides free educational programs and support groups for individuals living with mental illness and families/friends. Additionally, NAMI organizes educational events in schools and the local community.
