Read Aloud volunteers are needed to foster school readiness and an enjoyment of books for pre-kindergarten and Head Start children. Volunteers read to small groups of students and support literacy activities occurring in the classroom. They can also participate in arts and crafts activities, supporting problem solving and fine motor skill development!
JCA Interages provides training and completes a background check.
MUST BE AGE 50 OR OLDER.
Read Aloud is a program of JCA Heyman Interages Center.

Interages is dedicated to developing interactive,intergenerational programs that are mutually beneficial to seniors, adults, children and youth that enhance the opportunities for them to work, play and learn together. We work closely with our community and attempt to develop programs that meet community needs.
