We are trying to collect Valentine's Day cards to distribute to our patients. Cards signed by adults and/or kids are welcome! Sunday school, craft groups, Key Club, 4H, and any and all kinds of group-signed cards as well as family or individually sign cards are welcome. We'd like to put together a packet for each patient so that even our loneliest can remember that love is what the holidays are about and that they are loved. We have about 50 people to distribute cards to, so even if you can send in a few cards we'd love to have them. If you have any questions please email me or call me at 513-458-5545.
Cards can be sent to:

Mission Statement
For each employee to treat every patient as their own treasured loved one, providing care that affords a quality of life that outweighs quantity of days, and supports caregivers as their hearts find healing.
Description
Hospice is the only health care system that mandates the involvement of volunteers. This reflects the history of the hospice movement in the United States, which started as an all-volunteer system.
Hospice is designed to provide comfort care as well as spiritual and emotional support in the final phase of a terminal illness. At HarmonyCares, we focus on enhancing the quality of life and our volunteers play a key role in our mission. The hospice philosophy reaches beyond the physical needs of a patient and ensures that a patient spend their final days in comfort and with dignity.
HarmonyCares Hospice volunteers are as diverse as our professional staff. Compassion and caring are the hallmarks of any great hospice volunteer, and their involvement are a vital part of our team.
