Create items for use by our hospice patients and families - positioning pillows, heart door hangers, fleece throws and more. Be part of a fun volunteer group that meets monthly, or complete items in the comfort of your home instead. Sewing experience desired but not necessary, as some volunteers help cut fabric or pin items in preparation for sewing. This is also a great volunteer opportunity for groups!

Description
Olathe Health Ambassadors, what we like to call our volunteers, work in both clinical and non-clinical areas. Their talents are used at information desks, reception areas, patient registration, surgery family room, business offices, hospice care, and the Gift Shops - just to name a few. They also help with special projects such as Community Blood Drives and fundraising events.
At Olathe Health, our Ambassadors and staff work together to make each patient's stay as comfortable as possible.
