The Program Evaluations volunteer will provide support to the Feeding San Diego Programs team at the client level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify effective evaluation methods
- Support the operations of agency partnerships
- Monitor agency operations and protocol
- Maintain agency matrix
- Communicate with clients over email/phone
- Data collection & entry
Key Skills & Abilities:
- Previous experience with surveys/evaluations
- Good oral/written communication skills
- Proficiency with excel preferred
Time Commitment:
- 2-4 hours/week, at least 3-month time commitment
TRAINING PROVIDED FOR ALL VOLUNTEER ROLES
Volunteer Orientation will provide volunteers with an understanding of Feeding San Diego as a whole before role specific training. Additional training provided will include:
- Data Entry Training
- Software Training

Description
FSD was established in 2007 to bring food to San Diegans at risk of hunger. We are the only Feeding America member food bank in San Diego County. Feeding America is the nation’s largest charitable domestic hunger-relief organization. There are more than 200 Feeding America member food banks in the U.S., with access to 2 billion pounds of donated food annually; it is a strong group of food banks held to the strictest operational and food safety standards.
FSD is proud to serve the community. The food bank maintains extremely efficient operations and we pride ourselves on conscientious stewardship of resources. Our mission guides us in all of our activities and helps us make a lasting difference in the lives of as many hungry people and families as possible.
