Make a difference in someone’s life Become a volunteer!
HopeHealth's volunteers serve an essential role in caring for people facing serious illness. In partnership with our staff, volunteers support patients and their families through companionship, alternative support services, administrative and community support and more throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We also partner with Pet Peace of Mind to care for patient's pets when they are no longer able.
HopeHealth's hospice volunteers share their special skills and talents to bring comfort and joy to patients and their caregivers.
Since 1976, HopeHealth has been a dedicated provider of compassionate care, deeply rooted in the community. For almost five decades, we’ve built lasting connections, supporting local families with trusted, exceptional care throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

For nearly 50 years, HopeHealth has provided exceptional hospice, palliative, dementia, and grief support services. We are dedicated to offering compassionate, respectful care to our community. HopeHealth has a long legacy of guiding and caring for our community, our patients and their families in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. HopeHealth is dedicated to serving our patients and their loved ones with excellence, teamwork and compassion. We offer medical, emotional and spiritual care for people facing serious illness. It's our mission to help people live their lives with as much comfort and dignity as possible. We provide hospice care in the patient's private home, at assisted living facilities, long-term care facilities, hospitals, other residential settings and at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center. We serve communities in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Our providers are the leading experts in dementia and Alzheimer's services and offer a wide array of support groups throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. HopeHealth is ranked second in the nation for caregiver and employee satisfaction, according to the American Journal of Hospice & Palliative Medicine.
