Saturday, April 7th - Colorado Lagoon Habitat Restoration Event
10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.At the Wetlands and Marine Science Education Center (WAMSEC)
5119 E Colorado St, Long Beach, CA, 90814 Join us in restoring our rare habitats at The Colorado Lagoon. The events are fun, fulfilling, and require no prior experience-just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. If you are interested in helping your local environment and enjoying our unique urban nature, please join us at the Lagoon!

This month's event will include:
Planting native salt marsh and coastal sage scrub species,
Watering newly installed plants,
Removing emerging invasive plant species,
Learning native plants,
Learning the history of the Lagoon and its uses,
Helping the environment!
Closed-toe shoes are required and please bring sunscreen and water.
BE GREEN and please carpool to the event. All work equipment will be provided
