Saturday, May 11th - Colorado Lagoon Habitat Restoration Event
9:50 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.At the Wetlands and Marine Science Education Center (WAMSEC)
5119 E Colorado St, Long Beach, CA, 90814 Join us in restoring our special habitats at The Colorado Lagoon. The events are fun, fulfilling, and require no prior experience, just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. If you are interested in helping your local environment and enjoying our unique urban wildlife, please join us at the Lagoon!
Please RSVP for groups larger than 5
This month's event will include:
- Removing emerging invasive plant species,
- Learning native plants,
- Learning the history of the Lagoon and its uses,
- Helping the environment!
Closed-toe shoes are required and please bring sunscreen and water. All work equipment will be provided.
BE GREEN and carpool to the event if possible.

Your contributions of time and effort are vital to the success of the Lagoon's restoration and is truly appreciated!
