Revolution Dance has opportunities for volunteers to get involved with:

Community Engagement

  1. Become a school or community center advocate
  2. Help prepare and distribute marketing/awareness materials
  3. Be a liaison between Revolution Dance and a Community Partner

Sharing a Talent With Students

  1. Teach a Guest Class or host a special workshop (Yoga, pilates, dance, etc...)
  2. Give a lecture on success, overcoming obstacles, trailblazing etc...
Helping with a Concert or Event
  1. Usher an event
  2. serve on the first impressions team (greet, park cars, pass out information etc...)
  3. Assist professional production staff (Lighting, sound, stage management etc...)
  4. Be a rehearsal or production assistant

Administration

  1. Grant writing and research
  2. Budget Planning
  3. Event planning
  4. Donor Cultivation
  5. Web design and maintenance
  6. Studio cleaning and maintenance
  7. Form preparation

Revolution Dance Theatre is revolutionizing the world of dance by breaking barriers and building bridges between minority / underrepresented communities and the ballet art form. By doing the work necessary to provide high quality training and performance experiences we also provide opportunities for success that many individuals may not have otherwise experienced.
