The Iowa Senior Medicare Patrol needs volunteers to help spread the message to older Iowans about Medicare fraud and the scams going on in our area. Thorough training is provided to help seniors learn how to detect potential Medicare fraud and to protect themselves from identity theft and scams. Volunteers spend an average of two hours per month in this activity, although more time is available at each volunteer's request.

Aging Resources staff advocate, coordinate and provide services through federal, state and private funding to persons 60 years of age and older and their families. Our goal is to allow older adults individual choices in their care process in order to remain safe and independent in their homes.
We accomplish this through:
- Information and Assistance - We are here for you! We have specialists that can offer assistance and connect you to services and programs.
- Case Management - We coordinate community services to help you stay safely in your own home.
- Family Caregiver Program - Be the best caregiver you can be! We can help.
We have contracted service providers in some of our outlying counties to ensure quality services are available to all persons within our catchment area.
