Asian Pacific Development Center is expanding our small horticultural therapy garden into a bigger garden in the empty lot space by our office. The new space will have 30 10x15 plots for families as well as raised beds and pollinator gardens. Everything was approved a few weeks ago and things have been moving very quickly- so we are now racing against the weather to complete our plots before winter truly sets in.
We are looking for 10-20 volunteers to help us with our garden needs (creating at-grade plots, raised beds, etc) on December 16th from 9 am - 12:30 pm. All volunteers must be able to do a lot of strenuous activity.
