ORGANIZATION: Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh

  • 5 people are interested

We're looking for volunteers who would be interested in providing support to those who run our free income-tax assistance program at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh-Squirrel Hill.

Volunteers assist by answering phone calls and scheduling appointments for patrons who are interested in receiving free income tax assistance. The program is provided to senior citizens and low-income individuals, and we often complete more and 800 tax returns for community members each year!

Volunteers will be stationed with a phone and a computer to field phone calls and schedule appointments. We will provide training and you won't be expected to answer specific tax-related questions.

Volunteers are needed during January and February 2018.
