The Camellia Society of Central Florida needs your help for the 72 nd Annual Camellia Show! There are two dates for volunteer opportunities! Shifts are 3 hours. You can sign up for more than 1 shift if you would like, but we ask that you commit to one full shift.

Friday January 19 from 1:00 to 4:00
- snacks will be provided
Saturday January 20, 2018 from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (breakfast / lunch provided depending on shift)
Shift 1: 7am - 10am
Shift 2: 10am - 1pm
Shift 3: 1pm - 4:30pm
Some of the volunteer tasks that will be needed are....
greeters
count guests
set up and breakdown
assist with submitting and placing blooms
assist with judging
helping to direct guests where to park cars (Volunteers who assist with parking will only be needed from 8:00am to 2:00pm)
***Breakdown is at 4:00 pm - that is when we need as many as possible to help!***
Volunteer Dress code: We will have light green Camellia shirts available for you to wear - we just need your size as soon as possible. Khaki shorts or slacks of your own choice.

Our purpose is to restore, develop and sustain Mead Botanical Garden as an urban oasis; a refuge for wildlife, a garden emphasizing nature, sustainability and learning, and a place for contemplation, celebration, and recreation.
Description
The Friends of Mead Garden formed in 2003 to revitalize the more than 80 years old 47.5-acre biological asset known as Mead Bot anical Garden; to engage more people in the enjoyment of and education about nature. In 2011 we changed the corporate name to Mead Botanical Garden, Inc., (MBG) to define and establish the entity to go with this unique property.
In partnership with the City of Winter Park, the Mead Botanical Garden, Inc. assess the needs of the community, develop plans with community engagement, and raise funds to achieve the vision for Mead Botanical Garden.
