Share your time - Be a Community Friend and Mentor to Marlin!

Meet Marlin! Marlin is an avid sports fan who enjoys watching and playing basketball, flag football, and baseball. He also likes playing console video games, watching TV, going out to eat, and going to movies and concerts. He's looking for a Community Friend to help him expand his social circle, a positive person to hang out with and have fun.
We all want to belong, yet people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) have less opportunities for social interaction and can feel more isolated. Help Marlin bridge the gap and find a place in their community.
Volunteers are matched with a person with I/DD, and attend outings based on common interests. We encourage low-cost outings (approximately $15 or less per person per outing) and the time commitment is reasonable - one outing per month, 2-3 hours per outing. Can you help Marlin?
