Memory Bears
help us

We are looking for volunteers who are skilled sewers to make memory bears for family members after they have lost a loved one. If you enjoy sewing and own a sewing machine you can help create a legacy gift that will bring solace to a grieving family. We have many families who are grieving the loss of young children, parents, spouses, and family members. These bears serve as a tool to help families cope with the grief they are feeling. The Memory Bears are made using material provided by the family; something special that reminds them of their loved one, often a favorite shirt or special blanket.

The fabric is provided to you and you are able to make the bears in the comfort of your own home.
