We run a friendly laser tattoo removal program in San Pablo the second Saturday of each month from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM. We serve anyone who seeks our services no matter the reason. It is the only clinic of its kind in the area offering a flat fee that allows as many tattoos (and colors) as the nurse is able to treat in five minutes.

We love our clinic and our clients. The administrative portion of the clinic is staffed by mostly volunteers, and we need to expand our volunteer footprint to ensure we keep staffing levels appropriately supportive.

It's a five-hour commitment from 7:30 to 12:30. We feed our volunteers croissant egg sandwiches, and we have fruit and donuts available for staff and clients. Clients come here because they feel welcome and it's a fraction of the cost. We have been able to enroll a good portion of our clients into grants to lower or eliminate the cost in an effort to divert that money to more critical needs they may have (e.g., food, healthcare, gas).

This is about transforming lives, and it takes only coming to this clinic once to see why I volunteer my time one Saturday a month.

All volunteers complete an application through our partner, the City of San Pablo, and complete a LiveScan. We then HIPAA train each person, and begin training for specific roles. The training is not onerous; we keep it reasonable. Roles include registration, photography, payment, progress notes, and check out.

We would welcome anyone who could commit to two (2) or more clinics per year, and provide great staff t-shirts. Thank you for considering our clinic.
