  • Do you like to play card games, bingo etc?
  • Do you like to watch game shows or old movies, television shows?
  • Are you compassionate, caring, loving, and patient?
  • Are you patient and loving?
  • Do you want to make a difference in your community?

Kindred Hospice would love for you to provide in home companionship to our patients. As a volunteer you are not expected to provide medical care to patients. However, your presence at their bedside will allow a caregiver the opportunity to leave the home for a few hours. Your presence will give the patient support through socialization and companionship. All training is provided free of charge by Kindred.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age or older. Volunteers are welcome to provide visits during the day, after hours, or on weekends.
