About

Our mission for Up World Inc. is to motivate, empower, engage, and encourage young men and women through Life Literacy & mentoring and various other resources. We will foster a positive environment to support and enhance their personal growth and development as young adults. We will challenge them to build visions and goals for themselves and to ultimately become successful, responsible, and mature young adults in our community.

Why we’re here

If you are in your 20s, 30s or 40s, and you wish to become involved with a nonprofit board, the Young Professional Board of Upworld Inc provides fun, philanthropic opportunities for you to volunteer and support programming for historically marginalized students in the Chicagoland area.

The Young Professional Board experience builds awareness, hosts volunteer events and promotes fundraising for Upworld inc two-year program.

How you can help!

Membership in Upworld Inc Young Professional Board includes attending quarterly meetings either in person or via teleconference, social events, and volunteer opportunities, as well as a small financial contribution. Not only will joining our board help you network with professionals in your age group, but it will also help you build your resume and prepare you for future involvement on a board of directors. Most importantly, you can support the Upworld Inc mission: helping Chicagoland’s
historically marginalized students build, connect and obtain better lives.
