Are you interested in helping immigrants and other adult learners?
Our greatest need is for tutors to help English Language Learners with their reading and writing skills. Many of our students come from countries where they were un- or under-educated, and need serious remediation. On the HSE (High School Equivalency, formerly GED) side, we have students that need help with language arts and math skills they'll need to know for their tests.
Our classes are held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday. You don't need to stay for all three hours. You'll be working one on one or in small groups. All materials will be provided.
