Volunteers Needed for Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA)'s Holiday Concert

Help spread some holiday cheer for Youth Orchestra LA (YOLA) and HOLA Music Studio's’ annual holiday concert on Thursday, December 7th. HOLA is looking for extra hands in assisting with the concert set up operations support during the performances, and post-event breakdown.

Morning Shift (9:45AM-2PM) The first group of volunteers will assist with moving and setting up equipment. Volunteers must be comfortable moving heavy equipment; not all equipment is heavy (such as stands and chairs) but some of the instruments are. A light breakfast of granola bars and coffee will be served. Morning shift volunteers are also welcome to come back and enjoy the concert as guests.

Afternoon Shift (5:30pm-7pm) The second shift will include more hands-on volunteering with the community and students, helping the event go smoothly.

• Handing out concert programs
• Guiding parents to their seats
• Helping to monitor the students while in their assigned seats
• Helping the students on and off stage when they make the transition to different performances

The Late Shift (7PM-8PM)- We are looking for volunteers to help break down equipment and bring it back to the HOLA Music building post-event.

Volunteers must be 18 or older.
