His Helping Hands is a volunteer driven program that seeks to provide safe and accessible houses to folks who are financially needy and/or physically disabled, elderly, or head of a single parent household. We are looking for an individual who can help us manage our Volunteer Program-in all aspects from recruitment through recognition. Critically, we have projects that are at least 6 months delayed b/c we need more volunteers. If you are good at presenting causes and organizing, please contact us. We are interested in talking.

Our mission is to demonstrate God's love by providing materials and workmanship to make homes of the elderly, disabled, fatherless, and disadvantaged safe, accessible and secure.
A Christian nonprofit ministry that provides home repair and maintenance to those in need in the Peoria, Illinois/Tri-county community, we serve the elderly, single mothers, people with disabilities, veterans and others in need who live in their own home, but are unable to maintain the property. The organization often assists with health-related home improvements for those with disabilities including wheelchair ramps and accessibility renovations. These projects are completed at no cost to the homeowner. The projects are completed under the watchful eyes of experienced contractors and carpenters that supervise our volunteers. Since its inception in the Spring of 2000, His Helping Hands has completed over 500 jobs for almost 300 families and individuals. Last year, His Helping Hands was blessed to complete 93 projects in the Tri-County area. This year, we hope to complete more than 100 jobs. The program takes place 12 months a year, weather permitting.
We'll work with your schedule.
