Brookdale Hospice provides friendship, compassion and company to our Senior Population living in Senior Living Communities.
Visiting with one of our residents provides much needed love, company and smiles to those who often lonely. Our resident simply want someone to talk to, someone to take them outside to the courtyard when weather permits, play a game with them, help them eat and simply: hold their hand. They tell me everyday how much they love their visits from their volunteers.
We look for an hour a week but you visit when it is convenient for you. The schedule is completely flexible. You do not have to visit on a certain day or time; you go when it's best for you. This helps those who want to visit in the evening or on a weekend!
Please consider this fantastic volunteer opportunity. This is your chance to provide some love and smiles to someone in need.
