We are proposing to petition the DeKalb County School District and the State Charter School Commission to operate a public charter school under the name The Blended School in the Doraville area. The blended school concept has students and their parents in charge of their academic journeys. The school provides the experts, the road map and monitoring. We need individuals with school finance and school law background to help solidify our board.

Mission Statement
To design education experiences that foster the development of motivated and conscious learners. Our goal is to have the students and their parents involved in the diagnostic process, the design and implementation of their individual learning plans from the initial contact through the students' entire academic experience.
Description
The curriculum provides the map, ultimately, it is the learner's journey. We can guide, encourage, monitor and advise but we don't succeed unless we have produced conscious learners who are excited about their own explorations and can proceed with minimal guidance to a complete and productive life.
