ORGANIZATION: Cardborigami, Inc.

  • 5 people are interested

We are looking for volunteers spread across Greater LA who appreciate the art of origami, enjoy working hands-on with others and teaching, and are interested in learning to master the physical assembly of our temporary shelters. We want to build a cohort of 'assembly trainers' so that you may conduct future trainings on behalf of our organization to focused groups we may engage for assembly, particularly in the fields of work therapy / rehabilitation, youth workforce education, and other similar contract programs.

We will also have future need to draw one or more trainers from this cohort who are able to volunteer a certain number of consistent weekday hours over a scheduled period of 1-2 months to supervise and check the work quality of program participants. Scheduling will be determined based on program structure and setup, and will ideally be coordinated with / involve your input.
