Jumpstart is looking for volunteers to help at our Winter Themed Reading Garden on December 16th. Join us and A Child's Dream in celbrating the Holidays! We are looking for volunteers to read with children, and lead educational activities to promote the importance of early literacy. Volunteers will help children create snowmen, penguins, and write winter stories.

Description
Each year, one third of America's children arrive on their first day of school without the skills necessary to succeed at grade level. When children begin behind their peers, catching up, especially without additional assistance, is difficult and unlikely. By focusing on enriching the education of preschool students from disadvantaged communities, Jumpstart is making sure every child has a chance at success. Jumpstart is a national nonprofit dedicated to inspiring children to learn, adults to teach, families to get involved, and communities to progress together.
