A 6 month 1:1 connection to support and ease transition of residents from shelter life to community. Our residents are matched with volunteer mentors according to their interests, needs and other areas of compatibility. The pair will meet one on one and at times as a family (ad desired) for a minimum of 4 hours per month. After a one month introductory period, the pair can commit to meet for an additional 5 months if they so desire. After meeting for the 6 month period, the option to recommit to an additional 6 month supported relationship is also an option.

Description
Our highest priorities are meeting the whole needs of the homeless family. Physical, emotional, and spiritual issues may be addressed for each family member to become functional. Families living together and working on their problems together will make the transformation into healthy living patterns more quickly and permanently. Therefore, we strive to keep families intact as they work to transform their lives.
