Mission Statement

The mission of Greening the Sphere is to inspire creative solutions that expand a global awareness of the importance of maintaining a natural balance and respect of all species.

Description

Our vision is to provide opportunities for individuals, schools, communities and organizations to learn about cutting edge ideas in sustainability, biodiversity of species and green community building. In addition, we want to engage the community to participate in the creation and implementation of future products, methods and solutions that will propel the human species back into its intuitive natural connection. It is our intent to stimulate the human genius in fun, creative and intellectual ways so that we may tap into a whole brain approach to solving these critical problems. We employ creativity from all areas including science and art. We hold weekly classes for our Green Team of middle school students. All of our work gets showcased in a yearly festival that is planned, created and run by our volunteer team and local students. The Greening the Sphere Festival actively engages the community and the schools in the educational and creative components of sustainability. Our vision is for the festival to create an arena where innovations, new products and cutting edge ideas will emerge.
