The Thursday Night Movies at the Stardust Theater needs another two (2) volunteer projectionists to share the duties of the present crew. The Projectionist is in charge of theater lighting and screen operation, video set-up, cueing and display, and operation of the theater sound system. There is, also, a cordless microphone system used for introductory remarks and a wireless (FM transmitter) for the Assisted Listening System. Projectionists are usually scheduled for work once or twice a month.
Training will be provided and a volunteer will work as an assistant projectionist several times before taking on the job by themselves.
If you are comfortable with audio/video technology, this is an opportunity to utilize your skills to benefit the community of moviegoers.
Interested people should fill out a Volunteer Application at the R.H. Johnson Library, 13801 W. Meeker Blvd., Sun City West, AZ 85375 and ask for either Jane Kauzlaric or Audrey Ellis.
