I Live Here I Give Here is hosting a popup event for #GivingTuesday on Tuesday, November 28 from 2-5pm for the general public to stop by and take "actions for good" to support our local nonprofit community. As the official Community Leader for Giving Tuesday in Central Texas, I Live Here I Give Here will be counting all actions for good towards the global Giving Tuesday campaign.
Volunteers would assist with nonprofit booths to help connect attendee's to their cause and take an action for good. Sample actions for good include: sign-ups for volunteer opportunities, letter creation for constituents/community served, collection of canned good/coats/diaper or other supplies for your project or program, mobile blood donation truck, pet adoption station, vegetable market stand, art stand, etc.
Event Details
Date & Time: Tuesday, November 28 from 2-5pm (open to the public)
Volunteer setup time: 1-2pm; breakdown: 5-5:30pm
Location: Outside in the West parking lot/grassy area of the Livestrong building (2201 E. 6th Street, Austin, Texas 78702)

By inspiring new and young, givers, volunteers, and activists to make an impact on the community where they live, I Live Here I Give Here(tm) is ensuring that Austin thrives for decades to come. I Live Here I Give Here was established in 2007.
