Mission Statement
Our mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
Description
The CIS Volunteer Tutoring Program is designed to give young people an opportunity to have a one-on-one relationship with a caring adult, while helping them to succeed in the classroom and achieve in life. Young people thrive when adults care about them on an individual level, giving them a sense that they belong to a caring community. There are also opportunities to help with other activities that support students in their families, such as bi-weekly food distribution.
