This quote is the impetus behind YWCA Dayton's community ambassador program. We need volunteers -- working individually, in pairs, and in small/medium/large-sized teams -- to help us get the word out about the critical programs and services we offer for women and girls. We'll give you marketing materials to drop off and an elevator speech about who we are and what we do, and then send you out into all corners of the Miami Valley to make sure that lifesaving information (like our 24/7 crisis hotline) is readily available at area businesses and offices. It's a small role that has enormous impact for women and girls experiencing abuse.
