Community Based Mentoring is a program offered by Big Brothers Big Sisters -Pikes Peak. Volunteer mentors are matched with a youth in the Colorado Springs area, and choose a variety of mutually enjoyable activities in the community.

Volunteers commit to a minimum of one year, spending time with the same child (ages 9 to 12) two to four times a month.

Big Brothers Big Sisters staff members support and train the mentors, offering up suggestions, counsel and assistance.

This is the traditional program that Big Brothers Big Sisters is best known for nationally.

If you are interested in potentially volunteering with this program, feel free to e-mail: kristiand@biglittlecolorado.org
