The Meridian Parks and Recreation Department would love to have a super group come out and sweep up after our Holiday Lights Parade the prior evening. The date for this is Saturday, December 2nd and time is open for you to choose, the earlier the better though. The debris should mainly be candy wrappers and hot cocoa cups.
We can supply the trash bags for you, if you supply the brooms, dustpans and labor. We have a large dumpster in Centennial Park, which is Idaho and 2nd.
The route is beginning at City Hall, walking north on Main Street and making a right at Carlton (Meridian Post Office). Then the route makes a quick right on 2nd Street and ends back at Broadway.
This is a great task for multiple troops so you can all come out and work together as a team. Please contact Volunteer Coordinator, Barbara Hatch at 208 489-0562 or bhatch@meridiancity.org
Hope to hear from you, as this is just around the corner!
