The Renton Police Department is currently accepting applications for the Vacation House Checker Volunteer Position.
DUTIES
Checking vacant homes for unlocked doors, open windows or anything else out of the ordinary.
TIME COMMITMENT
Friday's between the hours of 8 am - 5 pm (up to four hours, depends on the number of houses you need to check).
REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid Washington State Driver’s License and be able to pass a criminal background check.

Description
The Renton Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that includes commissioned officers, non-commissioned personnel, and volunteer staff. The Department is divided into seven divisions: Patrol, Patrol Services, Investigations, Administrative Services, Staff Services and Special Operations.
