Join us to help remove invasive hydrilla plants from the Springs! We'll be working in the water in the beautiful springs, so please wear closed toe shoes, and clothes that can get wet and muddy/sandy.
We will be meeting at the Springs clubhouse. IMPORTANT NOTE: volunteers must sign up in advance, and we will need a list of names for all volunteers planning to attend (to provide to the gate keepers at the entrance to the community). Volunteers who have not signed up in advance will unfortunately not be permitted to enter this private community.
Please contact Elizabeth Stephens (serv@seminolecountyfl.gov; 407-665-2457) with any questions! Liability forms can be found on the SERV page: http://cdn.seminolecountyfl.gov/departments-services/public-works/watershed-management/serv-program/

Mission Statement
The Seminole Education, Restoration, and Volunteer (SERV) Program works to actively restore the waterways and natural areas of Seminole County, and educate the public about why these resources are important.
Description
We provide opportunities for volunteers to do lake restorations, invasive species removal, litter clean-up activities, and stormdrain marking in Seminole County. We also coordinate with the Adopt-A-Road and Adopt-A-River Programs. Working with SERV is a great way to give back to the community, earn volunteer hours for school or club requirements, and have fun outside while learning about our amazing natural resources. All ages are welcome.
