Monthly Senior Citizen Food Box Distribution

The New Braunfels Food Bank has it's Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) distribution every 2nd Tuesday of the month. Seniors receive a pre packed non perishable grocery box and a bar of cheese (which is why many of our seniors call it the "Cheese Program"). The seniors are preregistered and already know to come on that day, so it is a very busy morning. We are looking for a small crew to handle the distribution for us every month. This is an excellent way to serve our seniors and give back!

This is a reoccurring Volunteer Opportunity happening once a month. The CSFP distribution is held every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 9am-12:30pm, but we would want the crew here by 8:30am.

We need a minimum of 3 folks, 1 person to handle the sign in part at the front desk (admin) and at least 2 folks to actually distribute the boxes and cheeses out of our pantry (lifting boxes, moving pallets).
