Altus is partnering with patients and families to help them with something we all want to do, finish well. Our lives all have many twist, turns, and challenges along the way, but when you see the finish line you want to know you have given it your all, to your friends, to your family, and to yourself.

Life is precious and we want to help our patients live their remaining time well, living on their terms to the last breath.

Altus hospice asks you to join us in this race they are running. If you who are willing to give an hour of time each week to visit with a hospice patient, you can make a truly meaningful impact for a patient or for their family.

We have patients all over Austin, and Marble Falls, Llano, Kingsland, Burnet, Georgetown, Leander, Round Rock, Cedar Park We can match you with a patient who is within a 15 minute driving radius.

Opportunities for volunteering are extremely flexible, you can pick a schedule that works best for you. We also serve veterans patients who we try to give extra care and support to through our We Honor Veterans program.

If you are unsure about working with a hospice patient please feel free to reach out and learn more. If you become a volunteer we make sure you have the training needed to be comfortable and our volunteer coordinator will join you on your first visit to ensure you feel prepared to join in this honorable service.
